Bookdoubling responsibilities
- We commit to supporting you during our sessions in moving you towards achieving your goals. We will respond to your needs and agenda and NOT impose an agenda on you.
- We will actively listen and help you explore your ideas by asking questions that explore issues more deeply but also challenge you
- We will relate to you with respect, dignity, integrity, and compassion. Conduct ourselves in a professional manner; keeping everything you say and write, fully confidential, unless otherwise specifically agreed by you in advance or required by law.
- Content Happy T/a Book Doubling will not intrude into areas you wish to keep private until invited to do so.
- We will encourage you to set your own objectives and empower you to take full ownership of your project.
- Content Happy T/a Book Doubling will help you identify, plan, and prioritise how to meet your book development needs, provide you with constructive feedback as and when appropriate.- We will work in accordance to standard coaching code of ethics and good practice
- We will share responsibility for the smooth ‘winding down’ of the relationship when its purpose has been
achieved and avoid creating dependencyYour responsibilities as the Client:
- Take personal responsibility for your emotions and behaviours resulting from the coaching process and take personal responsibility for the choices and decisions you make as a result of your sessions with us.
- Be honest, open and committed to the process and endeavour to keep all appointments unless you have advised us with at least 48 hours notice – see Fees and Cancellation section.
- Agree to respond in writing to any request from your coach that supports the process and provide us with your agreed areas of focus- Be fully enthusiastic, committed, and engaged throughout the sessions and commit to raising matter(s) with me in a timely manner, if you are not happy about anything from our sessions together.
- Share responsibility for the smooth ‘winding down’ of the relationship when its purpose has been achieved and avoid creating dependencyFees and Cancellation Policy
Session fees are £115.00 plus VAT= £138 per 50-minute session. Payment is to be made in advance of the session.
It is your responsibility to notify us 48 hours in advance of the scheduled calls/meetings. We reserve the right to bill you for missed appointments. We will attempt in good faith to reschedule the missed meeting. Repeatedly missed sessions, may at our discretion end the coaching programme.
Gift Cards
Gift card sessions must be booked within 6 months from the date of purchase, and the session must take place within 12 months of the purchase date.
Confidentiality
Content Happy T/a Book Doubling is bound by the principles of confidentiality. Content Happy T/a Book doubling agrees not to disclose any information about you, the Client, without your written consent.
Confidential Information does not include information that:
(a) was in our possession prior to its being provided by you the Client;
(b) is generally known to the public or in you as the Client’s industry;
(c) is obtained by us from a third party, without breach of any obligation to you, the Client;
(d) is independently developed by Content Happy T/a Book Doubling without use of or reference to your confidential information;
(e) where Content HappyT/a Book Doubling is required by statute, or by court order to disclose;
(f) is disclosed to us and as a result of such disclosure we reasonably believe there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to you the Client or others;
(g) where you, the client are involved in illegal activity.Record Retention Policy
ContentHappy T/A Book Doubling will retain information and data acquired or shared during the term of the coaching programme in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection. Such records will be maintained by us in a format of our choice (print or digital/electronic) for a period of 3 years.
Termination
This agreement will end once all agreed sessions have been completed. Any outstanding invoice(s) will be paid, in full, before the final session.
Limited Liability
Except where stated in these Terms of Business, Content Happy T/a Book Doubling makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied concerning our services. In no event, we will be liable to you, the Client, for any indirect, consequential or
special damages. Where you have suffered damage, our whole liability under this Agreement, and your only remedy, shall be limited to the amount paid by you the Client to Content Happy T/a Book Doubling during the period of work.Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, then we both agree to attempt to mediate in good faith for up to 21 days after notice of the dispute is given.
Applicable Law
These terms and any dispute or claims will be governed by, and construed by, the laws of England and Wales
